Can't have the app running

I have had MMRemote for years and am a big fan.
For some unknown reason it stopped working.
I decided to instal the latest version (2.7) which is pprobably the one I had already.
I have Windows 10 - 64K
I checked that .Net is installed
I have put my Avast Firewall off
The folder has been created and the version installed. It appear in the list of my program.
Nevertheless, when I click to execute as administrator, nothing happens or opens.
In fact I have seen it appear in my Task list but it goes off 15 seconds after.
Can you please help resolve this as I really miss so much the remote which I have on my Galaxy S9+
Thanks in advance for your support.

Re: Can't have the app running

I forgot to mention, version installed is 2.7. Also it naturally does not appear in my System Tray

I can send my log data if it is helpful.

Hi there! I replied to your e-mail. It looked like you maybe forgot to attach the file?

Re: Can't have the app running

Hi again! I received your log files now. I think maybe it is your config files that have been corrupted.

I suggest you try the following:

- Open a Run window (press Windows+R or open the start menu and open 'Run').
- Enter %appdata% into the Run prompt, and press 'Ok'. This opens your application data folder.
- Located the folder named 'MediaMonkey Remote Server', and rename it to something else (for example "MMRemote Server OLD").

This forces MMRemote Server to create new files, which may solve your issue. If it works, feel free to delete the old folder. (We just want to keep it temporarily in case something went wrong.)
